Friends of Scouting?

Friends of Scouting is our annual giving campaign. Scouting families, businesses and civic-minded citizens are asked to support Oregon Trail Council in providing the Scouting program to more than 10,000 young people in 6 counties in western Oregon.

How does Oregon Trail Council spend its money?

Over 68% of the Council Budget goes directly to Program Services, which include:
Serving our Units,
Liabilty Insurance,
Professional & Support Staff Services,
Scout Shop,
And Program Equipment.

How is Oregon Trail Council Funded?

Over 40% of the Council's operational budget comes from the Friends of Scouting Campaign.
