National Youth Leadership Training

Aug. 11 – Aug. 16
Camp Melakwa - Blue River, OR

NYLT is the premier Leadership Training course offered by our Council.
This course is open to all Scouts at least 14 years of age. All applicants should have completed Intro to Leadership Skills for Troops or Crews.

Contact Rob (541.284.4389) for details on how to apply.

You will experience leadership training in a primative outdoor environment while gaining skills to lead other Scouts upon graduation. We have a great staff of youth leaders, who bring a lot of experience to the course.

Attendance is limited to only 48 Scouts across the entire Council, so register as soon as possible.

The cost for this week long training is $250.
Camperships maybe available. If you need a campership, please submit this request no later than May 1, 2019. Registration is not complete until full payment is made for the course and you have submitted a copy of a current BSA Medical Form with parts A, B, and C.

National Youth Leadership Training is an exciting, action-packed six-day program designed to provide Scouts and Venturers with leadership skills and experience they can use in their home units and in other situations demanding leadership of self and others.
