Oregon Trail Council, Boy Scouts of America serves more than 5,000 youth, supported by over 2,500 adults in over 400 units. It includes 7 districts in 6 counties covering Western Oregon including communities like Eugene, Springfield, Corvallis, Roseburg, and Coos Bay. Scouts are also served along the Oregon Coast is covered from Lincoln City to Brookings.

Disability Awareness Course


What: Disabilities Awareness Course

When: 11 May 2019
9:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Where:  Scout Service Center 2525 MLK Jr BLVD



  • Leaders of units that include youth of all levels of ability.

  • Anyone who wants to be able to better help youth with unique personalities.  

Why:  All our youth can benefit when Leaders have the skills to successfully include youth who  have differences in ability, whether those differences are in physical, behavioral, emotional, or learning ability. To build stronger units, Leaders can learn key skills to help youth with disabilities belong and progress in Scouting.

How Many: 6 Minimum, 18 Maximum

How Much: $5.00
