Our flagship camp located on a pennisula on Siltcoos Lake just outside the coastal town of Florence, Oregon. Camp Baker has been serving Scouting and western Oregon for fifty (50) years with a high caliber open program. Troops come from as far away as eastern Oregon, Montana, Washington, Idaho and California. 17 great meals are served from the Kenneth Ford Dining Hall. Developmental disabled campsites and cabins are available. Camp Baker is a popular destination for outdoor schools, church groups and family reunions.
There is still space available at beautiful Camp Baker this summer. Take advantage of the great facilities and programs that are offered at this premier camp. From sailing to rifle shooting, C.O.P.E. course challenges to nature study, there is something for every Scout, at every level, at summer camp.
Boy Scouts and Varsity Scouts wishing to attend summer camp have a second chance by joining a super troop at Camp Baker.
Sometimes Scouts can’t attend summer camp with their troop due to a conflict and sometimes boys want an extra week at camp. Now, Scouts have another opportunity to go to camp.
We’ve organized a super troop (Dates to be determined), for boys all across our council. We’re recruiting the adult leadership (contact the office if you are interested in being considered). This is a great opportunity for Scouts.
Cost is $275 and includes meals, lodging, program, and insurance.

Get your campsite reservation in now for Camp Melakwa because it’s going to be a summer of adventure. After last winter’s record snow fall, camp staff and Camp Melakwa committee members are gearing up.
We do need your help this year rebuilding tent platforms, picnic tables, kybos, and program areas. We have a great crew but can always use more help at Beaver Weekend, (To Be Determined). There will be projects for all skill levels. Bring a friend or your troop.
