Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the partnership between the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints
and the Boy Scouts of America
On October 29, 2013, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will host a nationwide Scouting Open House Night. On this evening, the LDS church will invite packs, troops, teams, and crews to join them as they open their doors to tell the story of Scouting in our local communities and to invite youth to join this life-changing program. All Scouts, Parents, Families and the Community are welcome! Details for a local celebration near you:

We will be having a celebration of "100 years of Association between the BSA and the LDS Church" at the President Street Chapel at 1155 President Street in Eugene. We will start at 6:00 pm sharp and there will be a broadcast from SLC followed by cake and ice cream and displays of Scouting in the LDS units this past year. It should be very interesting and inspiring for Scouts and non-Scouts alike. We invite all to attend.

A special commemoration of the church's 100 year affiliation with the Boy Scouts of America, and event called "On My Honor: A Century of Service to God and Country". The Stake Young Men's presidency will provide refreshements following the event.
