Joe and Susan Essin of Woodcraft are opening their shop to Cubs again this year for a fantastic Pinewood Derby woodworking class:
Scouts will be able to get their cars cut out to rough shape and will have an opportunity to learn some speed secrets. We focus heavily on safety in order to give Scouts a clear understanding of tools. Scouts will design their cars and we will perform cuts on the bandsaw to help them get started with their project. Scouts will finish their car at home.

Pre-Orders for the 2010 council National Scout Jamboree collector’s patch set will begin January 1, 2010 and are limited to the first 75 customers. Patch sets will be available spring of 2010.
